Being Safe in all of God’s Places
Our role as Christ's apostles is to nurture, protect and safeguard children and adults at risk. We do this by working together to support each other in making the places we gather safe places. We do this because we are called to follow in Christs footsteps.
We follow
the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish
Safeguarding Officers. The Diocese of Lichfield’s safeguarding page
contains helpful information including contacts for the
Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our PSOs. If you are
concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk
of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns
about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your
local authority Children or Adults Services.
Our Safeguarding Coordinator is Angie Partoon and she can be contacted by email here or by phone: 01922 476 598. Jane Cox is safeguarding lead for All Saints' church and can be contacted on: 07834 700 840.
We are committed to Promoting a Safer Church - the Church of England’s Safeguarding Policy for children, young people and adults. The full policy is displayed below.
