Being Safe in all of God’s Places

Our role as Christ's apostles is to nurture, protect and safeguard children and adults at risk. We do this by working together to support each other in making the places we gather safe places. We do this because we are called to follow in Christs footsteps.

We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officers. The Diocese of Lichfield’s safeguarding page contains helpful information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

If you have any safeguarding concerns for either children or vulnerable adults in our churches, please contact us:
